This research is motivated by the emergence of a new tourist attraction in city Tanjungbalai. study aims to see how participation local communities development Waterfront City Tanjungbalai tourism object. The method used observation and interviews with tourists as well using literature studies from various literatures. results concluded that this was very high. can be seen large number people's developing attractions selling kinds souvenirs providing transportation accessed visiting tourists. However, there no visible other matters such less attractive attractions.
